Born in the deepest forest, she found only a nest of snails to fill what was missing.

Born in the deepest forest, where shadows entwine with the roots of eternal trees, she gathered dreams and sorrows to restore what was missing. But all she found was a nest of snails — a heart slow and patient, pulsing beneath their shells. Now one of her eyes remembers the forest, and the other, only the dark. When the room grows damp and still, you can hear her breathing — or perhaps it's only the snails moving inside.
